Description

This set of limited edition rings is specially made to be sold as part of Lebrusan’s socially-engaged project Blunt Blades. The rings were made using recycled metal from police-confiscated knives and other artefacts which were given to Arabel Lebrusan by Bedfordshire Police in 2013. Transforming the metal from these confiscated objects into artworks that could evoke other emotions, Blunt Blades examines the ways materials carry inherent meanings and how those meanings can be reshaped.

Each ring is unique and special, engraved with its own edition number and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the artist. Similar rings were produced for Lebrusan’s artwork ‘Knife Murders 275/275 England and Wales’ (2021) which represent the children, women and men homicides in England and Wales from April 2019 until March 2020.

Returns

Artworks must be returned within 30 days of original purchase.
Customers must email arabel@arabellebrusanart.com to arrange any returns.

*Postage for UK, EU and international returns and exchanges is non-refundable. The postage will be at the cost of the customer.

Purchases must be returned exactly as they arrived. Please ensure that artworks are returned in their original packaging with proof of purchase.
